   When a Cosigner is being used then the Cosigner needs the following:
    Student's first and last name
    Student's Social Security Number
    Student's Date of Birth
    Student's Confirmation number and pin

    Cosigner's e-mail address                       If there is no e-mail address, enter N/A

   To maximize the efficiency of the online process, we highly recommend that the borrower and    cosigner are prepared to complete the application in one sitting. There is an option for you to    "Save for Later" at the bottom of the "Credit Results Page"; choosing this option will dramatically    slow down the application process. 

   If a student or cosigner "Saves for Later" during their initial application process, in order to   complete the loan application at a later time, they must go to www.slmfinancial.com and choose   "Lookup Previous Decision", select loan and log in. Once logged in, select "Loans in Process",   select loan. Credit decision and rates and fees will be displayed, if approved. Student or
  cosigner should select one of the first two options to complete their loan application.
